The Rape of Lucrece - STAGED READING
One of William Shakespeare's few narrative poems gets a theatrical adaptation for the 21st Century. Resident Playwright Kevin Brewer weaves his own original text in with the soaring iambic pentameter of Shakespeare's language to create a piece that keeps one foot solidly planted in the Elizabethan ideal, while finding a powerful foothold in our contemporary world.
