This the chance to get a full level three with the UCB Training Center, from the comfort of London.
We're running a week long intensive from February 15th - 19th 2016. Classes are £399. Secure a place with a £100 deposit.
This course introduces students to the long form improvisation structure known as "The Harold," developed by Del Close.
"The Harold" is a series of scenes inspired by a single suggestion that fit together into one cohesive half hour piece. Students learn how to 1) perform openings, 2) create scenes inspired by an opening 3) perform "group games," 4) second and third beats (returning to scenes later in the piece).
About the UCB
The Upright Citizens Brigade Improvisational and Sketch Comedy Training Center is the only accredited improv and sketch comedy school in the US. Their highly trained faculty represents some of the best writers and performers working in comedy today. Over the past 15 years, the Upright Citizens Brigade (Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh) have developed a unique unified curriculum that is constantly updated and improved by the best improvisers in the world. UCB Training Center teachers and alumni include writers and performers for Saturday Night Live, Parks and Recreation, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Colbert Report, Key & Peele, 30 Rock, The Office, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Funny or Die, Happy Endings, The League, Children's Hospital, and many other hit television shows and movies.

Important! This class will be taught by UCB Training Center instructors in London.
Students are required to see at least 2 videos of improvised shows at the UCB Theatre before the end of the course (supplied).
Course meets for 8 sessions, each 3 hours long.
Students will take part in a class performance, at a location in London.
Class Size: one class of 16 students
Class will meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. There will be a class show on Saturday evening.
Admission to 401 after the completion of this course is not guaranteed. Students will be judged on their application of concepts that they have learned in Improv 201 & 301.
Please note: the £100 course deposit is non-refundable. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to class at which point full amount is non-refundable. This class will only run if all 16 places are filled. Only if course does not run will full refunds be offered.
