Ring in 2016 at an exclusive New Year's party at Driftwood Kitchen in Laguna Beach

Tightrope Entertainment is bringing back the exclusive New Year's Eve bash to ring in 2016, which is taking place at the beautiful Driftwood Kitchen in Laguna Beach, Calif. Formerly the home of old Hollywood character actor, Slim Summerville, this building has been a staple in Laguna Beach for nearly 90 years.

Driftwood Kitchen, which took over the old Beach House Restaurant and opened its doors in June, 2014, is a beautiful venue nestled right up against the sand and beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With a large open-air patio serving as the main space of the venue, breathtaking views and an enchanting ambiance are central to the experience.

Transforming the restaurant into an open space performance venue, guests will be transported into a Great Gatsby-like New Year's party. One of Laguna's favorite homegrown bands Common Sense will perform live, keeping the energy going for the evening. Nick-I Hernandez and his band Common Sense have been making waves in the Southern California music scene since the early '90s.

This special intimate evening, at an extraordinary restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is going to be the hot spot in Laguna Beach on New Year's Eve. Three hours of music from Common Sense, along with excellent food and drinks available from Driftwood Kitchen, will make this an evening to remember.

VIP tickets grant early access starting at 8:30 p.m. and exclusive access to the second floor Stateroom Lounge. In addition, from 9 p.m. 9:45 p.m. VIPs will get a special guest performance from the highly talented Jackie Pember. Two complimentary glasses of sparkling wine will also be available to VIPs.

We welcome all of our guests, both General Admission and VIP, to join us on The Deck at 8:30 p.m. for an early cocktail (or two!) while rocking out to the groovy sounds of Laguna Beach's local fave DJ SLi Dawg.

Tickets are required when doors open for General Admission starting at 9:30 p.m., with Common Sense taking to the stage at 10 p.m. Will Call tickets will be held at the door.
