A DECADENT VOID - by Alex Aguirre - Venus/Adonis Theater Festival 2016
This metaphysical tragicomedy of manners finds its elemental thrust in the story of Stewart, a poet/philosopher who lives in an imaginative paradise. He conducts cosmic investigations with his living statue, Astrid. They await the coming of Steerforth, a poet from Earth, whom Stewart has invited to be a participant in their quests for knowledge of a very certain sort.
