Jewish Plays Project
After stops in New York, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, and San Francisco, the 5th annual Jewish Play-writing Contest is coming to Silicon Valley for the first time this Spring!
In a one-of-kind participatory event created by the New York-based Jewish Plays Project, you will watch a cast of stellar actors read 20-minute sections from 3 plays, hear JPP Founder David Winitsky share the latest theatrical trends, and then vote on a winner - using your cell phone! (Curious? Get your tickets now to find out more.)
The ultimate winner gets a workshop production for industry leaders in New York as part of JPP's OPEN: Festival of New Jewish Theater in Downtown Manhattan in June, 2016.
Over 913 plays from 650 writers in 29 states and 8 countries have entered the Contest, and we are proud to present the Top 3 for your enjoyment - and judgement.
