He knows which way the wind is blowing, and in Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, these icy currents smack you right in the face.- The New York Times

Buyer &Cellar (July 8th - July 30th) ARTOWN PRODUCTION
Winner of the 20142015 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show. "Jonathan Tolins has concocted an irresistible one-man play from the most peculiar of fictitious premisesan underemployed Los Angeles actor goes to work in Barbra Streisand's Malibu, Calif., basementallowing the playwright to ruminate with delicious wit and perspicacity on the solitude of celebrity, the love-hate attraction between gay men and divas, and the melancholy that lurks beneath narcissism. This seriously funny slice of absurdist whimsy creates the illusion of a stage filled with multiple people, all of them with their own droll point of view." NY Times

Bad Jews (August 19th - Sep 3rd)
The night after their grandfather's funeral, three cousins engage in a verbal (and sometimes physical) battle. In one corner is Daphna Feygenbam, a "Real Jew" who is volatile, self-assure and unbending. In the other is her equally stubborn cousin Liam, a secular and entitled young man, who has his shiska girlfriend, Melody, in tow. Stuck in the middle is Liam's brother, Jonah, who tries to stay out of the fray. When Liam stakes claim to their grandfather's Chai necklace, a vicious and hilarious brawl over family, faith and legacy ensues.

SILENCE! The MUSICAL (Sep 30th - Oct 22th)
This laugh-out-loud naughty satire features a singing chorus of floppy eared lambs narrating the action as Buffalo Bill gleefully dances a hoedown while kidnapping hapless Catherine Martin. Even Dr. Lecter, scary as ever, sings about the life hed like to lead someday outside the prison walls.Fueled by a rabid cult following since the songs debuted online in 2002, SILENCE! was expanded into a live stage show and shattered every box-office record at the 2005 FringeNYC Festival. Winner of the NYCFringe's Best Musical Award, SILENCE! The Musical combines whip-smart dialogue and shocking songs to make a musical parody of The Silence of the Lambs that's sure to be popular with seasoned fans of the movie and FBI rookies alike.
