Slow Food East Bay's Spring Potlucks - Niles/Fremont

Mark your calendar for Thursday May 3rd and plan to join in an evening of potlucks spread across the East Bay!

We've decided it was high time to celebrate the arrival of Spring and all the amazing food that comes our way this time of year. We will also take the time to catch you up on Slow Food East Bay's 2012 plans, as well as what's going on with Slow Food USA. Willow has just returned from the SFUSA National Congress in Louisville Kentucky bursting with news of what the national office as well as all the other US chapters are up to.

By reserving here, you have chosen the NILES/FREMONT location (there are also locations in Rossmoor/Walnut Creek, North Oakland and Temescal). Once we receive your reservation, we will be in touch with confirmation and details on location and contacts.

So take a stroll through your local farmers market and pick up some asparagus...or strawberries...or baby artichokes...or ramps(!) and head home to cook them up into something Slow Food-y and seasonally appropriate. And then arrive to a welcoming and convivial table to share in the pleasures of good food with other folks. How better to spend a lovely spring evening?

*Although we are not requiring payment in advance, we are using your reservation of a spot as guarantee that you will attend. Some of our hosts have limited space, and so each and every attendee will be important in order to have a full and complete meal and no holes around the convivial table. If you have to back out, please let us know immediately. The consideration is appreciated!
