The Great Pretender
"The Great Pretender" a new play by Ivy Hawkins will open on Friday, May 4th. NOTHING is what it seems! Six women, who are close friends, attend a pre-marriage wedding party for the youngest member of the group.
The play reveals how women are able to mask their feelings from those closest to them, keeping their personal challenges with husbands on the down low, marital infidelity, betrayal, lies, pain, and love from view. Ultimately truth will not be denied, the masks must come off and the truth revealed. Unmasking will take center stage and force each of them to acknowledge who they are and deal with each other in love and truth.
This is a wonderful serious and lighthearted fun-filled play for women and men of all ages.
