Jon Meacham: Destiny and Power
Jon Meacham's new biography of George Herbert Walker Bush, Destiny and Power, will be released on Nov. 10, 2015. Mr. Meacham will speak at the Charleston Library Society (164 King St.) on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015 at 6:00PM. There will be a light cocktail reception in our Main Reading Room at 7:30PM following Mr. Meacham's talk. Tickets for the events include an autographed bookplate and book ($35) and admission. Proceeds support the Charleston Library Society Conservation Fund.
General Admission: Ticket, autographed book, light reception $65.
The books and signed bookplates will be available after November 15 at the Charleston Library Society at 164 King Street.
