With Only a Compass
Inspired by the films of Mike Leigh and Christopher Guest and the early improvisational experiments of the Compass Players, writer and PIT performer Jeff Scherer creates the outlines of plays, leaving the dialogue and details to be improvised by New York's best improvisers. Each actor starts the performance knowing only what his character is supposed to know making discoveries about the other characters at the same time the audience does.
