Midland Music presents "American Songbook"
New trio, new project, new program in Bronxville. NY-based jazz pianist & composer, Takeshi Asai, known for his smart and artistic approach to the international scene of modern jazz, will bring his newly formed jazz piano trio in Bronxville after the successful CD release tours in France and Japan. For the last decade, he has been known as a superb composer (eight original albums and credits as a producer), but for the night Takeshi is honored and excited to present his new piano trio featuring "American Songbook" such as George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and even Joni Mitchell. The show not to be missed! A reception follows the concert.
