YES! Magazine's 2nd Annual Dinner at the Sorrento
Join best-selling author of Diet for a Small Planet Frances Moore Lappé, slack-key guitarist Makana (who made national news last fall when he performed an original Occupy Wall Street anthem for Barack Obama), and the board of YES! Magazine for dinner, drinks, and casual conversation at the historic Sorrento Hotel.
Dinner tickets include admission to YES! Magazine's 2nd Annual Celebration of People Power at Town Hall will Alice Walker, Frances Moore Lappé, and Makana, which starts at 7 p.m. A dessert reception will follow the main stage program.
Proceeds benefit YES! Magazine, a nonprofit, national media organization based on Bainbridge Island. 75% of the dinner ticket price is tax-deductible.
