FanTastic: A Fan Dancing Primer!
FanTastic! A 4-Week Fan Dance Primer
The Academy of Burlesque is excited to offer our first ever Fan Dancing Series! Fan dancing is one of the most glamorous and mysterious facets of the Burlesque world!
In this 4 week course, you will work with Indigo Blue and guest instructors Sydni Deveraux and The Shanghai Pearl to learn the ins and outs. From small fans to extra large Sally Rand feather fans, learn methods and choreography specific to each type, as well as basic fan construction, and embellishment techniques!
We have a limited number of fans available for rental if you do not have your own. Rental rate is $10 (used sets) - $40(unused sets) per class. We also have 4 pairs of Sally Rand fans available for purchase at $325! Please contact us ahead of time if you wish them for the first class. We can also place an order if we sell out, however, they take 2-3 weeks to arrive, therefore you will have them by the end of the session.
