Deco-Fest 2012 at the Buffalo Central Terminal
After last year's most talked about concert event of the summer, Deco-Fest is back bigger and better than ever! This year's event will feature two headlining acts straight from the Big Apple area, as well as all the highlights from last year's event that made Deco-Fest so great!
Come dance the night away with the super-swingin' big-band sounds of Double Down! The combination of original songs, classic covers, and current swing renditions of today's popular radio hits will have you cutting up the concourse floor!
The evenings second headlining act is the Gas House Gorillas. The Gorillas fuse together jump blues, swing, rockabilly, and modern rock for a sound that will have you hypnotized. Rick Fink and the boys also have an energetic stage show that is unparalleled. The band is regulars at all the national music festivals, and they are ready to bring down the Terminal!
Deco will also feature many local music talent like Buffalo's own Kickstart Rumble, and Rochester's Krypton 88. More band announcements coming soon that makes this event the premier music festival in the Queen City!
Come out and enjoy the free car show out front as well as the dance lessons and demos by Chuck Chazz's Next Generation Swing, and Swing Buffalo. Also see a vintage Vaudeville style performance by Chelsea Green from Pole Play Dance Studio. And don't miss our Annual Miss Deco-Fest Contest! All included in price of admission.
Make sure to keep June 16th open to attend Deco-Fest 2012, and enjoy the great music, food, drinks and more! If you did not attend last year's Deco-Fest, than you have never experienced the Central Terminal the way it should be experienced. Just ask someone who came to last year's event! I am sure they will be there again.
