M&Ms (Monologues et Molière)

An all-in-French evening: monologues by Greg Chabot, plus the French version of selected scenes from the TAS September presentation of "Molière Medley." Sweet and bittersweet at once. The monologues offer snapshots of the 400+-year francophone presence in Québec and New England. The scenes in the "Molière Medley" show how foolish men can be when they try to be what they are not. As a bonus, you'll hear pre-Académie French with all of its" p'tedbens," "a steurs," "moé's," "frets" and "icits." Sweet sounds indeed.

Nathalie Loignon is a French Canadian from Montreal who moved to the US in 2000. A trained dentist, she has worked in various capacities in local theatre, most notably with TiTO and most recently as stage manager for Molière Medley at TASN.

Greg Chabot has been a part of the Newburyport and French Canadian theatre scenes for decades. A versatile actor, accomplished director and bi-lingual playwright, he brings a depth of knowledge and experience to his work that is unparalleled.
