Foggy Ridge + Pig with Friends
Celebrate Cider! We're bringing a great line-up of guests for Cider Week NYC, including J. Fox, head butcher at Hudson & Charles for a two-hour pig butchering and cider talk. Your ticket (get it here) includes your first cider (availability TBD). We're expecting to have choices from:
Foggy Ridge (of course!)
Eden Ice Cider
Eve's
Possibly a Sidra cask from Black Duck
You can chat with Diane about cider making while learning about artisan butchery. Our chef will cook the pig as it's broken down (and we suspect a few samples will be passed around for tasting). The cuts will be incorporated into our menu from Tito King's Kitchen at Jimmy's No. 43.
Admission to the demo includes the 4 p.m. (pay-as-you-go) "Cider 101" class where Diane Flynt will talk about grower-based ciders.
