Rope Bottoming & Self Suspension with Tiger Aiko!
The Devil Mask Society is proud to have Tiger Aiko instruct a three class intensive in Los Angeles. All class descriptions subject to change at the instructor's discretion.
SELF SUSPENSION CLASS (Intermediate)
01.15.16 from 7:30 to 10:30 PM
$45 per person tying. Limit 8 people.
DESCRIPTION: Beginning self-tying techniques and safety, how to move into self-suspension and performance tips. Advanced techniques will be explored if time allows.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Base knowledge of executing single column ties without collapsing knots.
DURATION: 3 Hours.
WHAT TO BRING: 8 - 12 lengths of 6mm jute or hemp, carabiners/ring, towel, water bottle.
INTRODUCTION TO KINBAKU MODELING (Intermediate)
01.16.16 from 1 PM to 6 PM.
$65 per tying couple. Limit 10 couples.
PLEASE NOTE - If you are a bottom who is currently un-partnered, or whose partner is not comfortable with necessary levels of tying, we are happy to work with you to provide a suitable rope top to facilitate participation.
DESCRIPTION: Exercises, stretching and safety. Bottoming for side suspension, face down suspension, and other positions as time allows.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Both bottoms and tops should be familiar with "static" suspension techniques and safety.
DURATION: 5 hours.
WHAT TO BRING: 8 - 12 lengths of 6mm jute or hemp, carabiners/ring, towel, water bottle.
ADVANCED KINBAKU MODELING (Advanced)
01.17.16 from 1 PM to 6 PM.
$90 per tying couple. Limit 8 couples.
PLEASE NOTE - If you are a bottom who is currently un-partnered, or whose partner is not comfortable with necessary levels of tying, we are happy to work with you to provide a suitable rope top to facilitate participation.
DESCRIPTION: Exercises, stretching and safety. Vertical and other advanced poses. Bottoming for "dynamic" suspension and transitions.
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced. Both bottoms and tops should be familiar with suspension transition techniques and safety.
WEEKEND ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE (Advanced)
01.15 - 01.17.16
$175 per tying couple for the weekend. 6 couple maximum.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Tiger Aiko is a well known bottom, self suspender, and aerial circus performer in Japan. One of Osada Steve's favorite models, there's a whole photo book devoted to her here: http://osadasteve.com/aiko/. She rocked the house with her wild self suspension performance at last year's Shibaricon, in addition to her dozens of performances in Japan.
Tiger practices a chaotic 'open loop' style of self suspension which involves no harnesses and is simple to learn heavily inspired by circus techniques.
