An Evening of Children's Theatre--The Stinky Cheese Man AND The Short Tree and the Bird That Could Not Sing
Come out for a fun night of children's theatre (that is fun for adults too!) We will start the evening off with the wacky play, THE STINKY CHEESE MAN, written by Kent Stephens and based on the children's book by John Sciezka. Spend 45 minutes with twists on classic fairy tale characters like Cinderumplestiltskin, the Stinky Cheese Man, and The Other Frog Prince.
After a brief intermission, embark on a tale of friendship with THE SHORT TREE AND THE BIRD THAT COULD NOT SING, written by Dennis Foon and based upon the children's book. A tree that wishes he could be taller and a bird that has a terrible singing voice form an unlikely friendship in this quirky fable about loneliness and love.
