Pulp
On March 7, the lesbian musical PULP by Patricia Kane makes its Madison premiere. PULP is an affectionate parody of the lurid lesbian fiction of the 1950s. Departing from the obligatory tragic endings of 50s lesbian pulp fiction, Kane not only happily pairs off three sets of lovers by the end of PULP, but also has immense good fun with the punchy style of the genre, and the lure of lesbian bars, drag kings, and the appeal of Barbara Stanwyck. All tickets are 'will call' only to be picked up at the box office on the date of the performance.
