DOUBLE BILL: MAXI MORE + IMMA/MESS

A double bill of opulent drag performance that finds beauty in the grotesque and glamour in the trash.

Both regulars on the London cabaret circuit, drag queens Maxi More and IMMA / MESS present an evening of playful performance made up just for the Micro-Fest, followed by a rare insight into the ideas behind their work as we invite them to speak about what inspires them and take questions.

Expect dance, lipsync, intellectual discussion and sickening wigs.

Maxi More is a London-based performance artist who uses play, make believe, fabrics and fibers to break free from the limitations of contemporary identity.

IMMA / MESS is a ballet-trained performer from NYC, coming to Bristol for the first time. IMMA uses movement as a way to give the intangible a physical presence.
