The Art of the Prima Donna
Campbell House, the historic home of Sir William Campbell, hosts The Art of the Prima Donna, a costumed program of romantic opera presented by U of T Opera. Selections from Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi and others will be interspersed with anecdotes about the great 19th-century prima donnas. A post-performance afternoon tea is included in the ticket with the treats inspired by the historical period of the music.
