Anticipating a bit of upcoming holiday stress?
Escape on Monday evenings to a creative adventure.
This is a good class for those who feel hesitant about figure sketching. For inspiration, we will utilize reference material, as well as a clothed model, to explore basic concepts for sketching the human figure.
The human form will gently emerge through introductory soft charcoal studies. You will also enjoy the excitement of quick gesture sketches with Prismacolor sticks. Optional approaches include pen and ink and also the use of toned paper with delicate colored pencils.
Come join us ~ Novices are welcome!
NOTE: Returning participants can choose to explore new mediums or pick their favorite one and devote all the classes to developing a series.
Supplies: Participants share cost of 18" x 24" paper, charcoal etc. and model fee. Other choices of supplies are obtained locally. List of options to come. Returning students will replenish their supplies when needed.
