How to talk to techies!
Stage craft for the casual to professional performer.
In this series we will explore basic stage craft elements. You don't need to know all of the lingo to get the biggest bang for your buck in any venue. With a little know how you can get a spit and polished production anywhere you go. We will cover subjects like "What to expect from your space" where we will discuss what to expect from different types of venues from bars to grand theatres, and how to adjust your tech notes based on what is available. "Your Lighting and You" where we will discuss how best to light your number to showcase you! We will also discuss music formats, how to convey your vision in tech notes, and tips and tricks to give you that extra oomph when setting up your production!
