(Stand-Up Style) Comedy Showcase, at Naked City Brewery, Sunday November 1st
(Stand-Up Style) is a monthly comedy showcase that takes place the first Sunday of every month at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Greenwood, Seattle.
The show features international touring Stand-Up comedians, and is hosted Kortney Shane Williams, who has opened for David Alan Grier, Dave Chappelle, and regularly opens for Hannibal Buress. He's appeared on Comedy Time, Fox's Laugh TV, and The 206 on NBC.
(Stand-Up Style) is a professional showcase that's guaranteed to be a great night of comedy, and not one that turns your one night out, into a 3 hour marathon of unfunny; which ends up being more depressing than entertaining. Leaving you thinking, "I should have stayed home and watched Seinfeld reruns."
This month's show will be held Sunday November 1st at 7 PM, with headliner and host Kortney Shane Williams.
Kortney is the producer of Stand-Up Style and for the first time since starting the show he will be headlining. Kortney is currently preparing for 36th Annual Seattle Comedy Competition. He will also be recording a new album in the spring of 2016.
Also on this month's showcase is Parker Postyeni, Hans Kim, and Travis Nelson. All are great up-incoming Seattle based comedians.
In addition there will be pre-show music provided by Seattle producer, Thad Wenatchee
The show starts at 7 PM. Which is a reasonable hour unless you're a hermit that likes to get 12 hours of sleep. It's a convenient start time because it allows you to get home and make sure your kids haven't set your house on fire. It also helps people make it to work on time the next day. So you can enjoy a night out, keep your day job, and not have to resort to a life of crime.
