About Sara Quigley: Sara Quigley will bring samples and finish products of her passion in quilting! Starting with embroidery at age 5 - I've been sewing on something ever since. I finally found my way to quilting and there is no looking back. I do so enjoy making quilts using traditional patterns as well as exploring new options. It is rather fun to jump in and make a quilt just using scraps or use colors the would ordinarily be considered an odd combination. For some reason, they all seem to work out. Although hand quilting is traditional and beautiful, I find machine quilting a nice alternative for speed and yes, convenience. My current shop is on Etsy called: SaraQue (saraque.etsy.com) and you can reach me at pdxbags@gmail.com. It is quite the journey going from embroidery to garments to quilting to handbags. I now attend craft and bazaar shows to sell my quilts, handbags and other items as often as possible. There is a never ending supply of wonderful fabrics, ideas and friends to share them with.
