Spanish Wine Dinner at The Farm Stand
My newest wine importer, Alvaro de la Vina of Selections de la Vina, is coming up to host a five course Spanish wine dinner at The Farm Stand in South Portland on Friday October 23rd.
Alvaro is from the Seville area of southern Spain and in the past 2 years has garnered a lot of attention in the wine world as the first Spanish importer working exclusively with natural wines. Alvaro is also unusual in the wine world for his focus on wines from southern Spain and other areas off the beaten path.
Alvaro is very passionate and very knowledgeable. If you like Spanish wine you should not miss this dinner.
Dinner will be 5 courses cooked by the inimitable Joe Fournier with very minor assistance from yours truly: Ned Swain.
