Carter's Play is the anti-feel good play about low budget art-making. Featuring a play within a play, a set built on stage during the performance, emotional manipulation, sex, and cheapness all in the name of theater.

Crane Old School is at 1417 North 2nd Street. It is two blocks north of Girard and just north of Northern Liberties. There is plenty of on-street parking and the theater is just a few minutes walk from the Girard Stop on the Market-Frankfort Line. (Note: Crane Old School is not the Crane Arts Building, though they are very close to each other.)
