Question: I notice that for the general admission tickets it says the price is $20.00 if you present your Student ID at the door. I was wondering how this works? Is the discount available for any Student ID? Do they refund the difference if I paid $35.00 for the tickets online? Or does this imply that you can buy the tickets at the door at the discounted rate instead?
Answer: Good Question. We have added a ticket line for student tickets. Buyers must show valid student ID at the door with the ticket purchased at brown paper tickets. Or student discount tickets can be purchased at the door providing persons have valid student ID's. However, please call (212) 209-2800 to reserve seat and to check to see if tickets are still available.
Question: In the meet and greet, will attendees be able to have one on one conversations with Dr. Kaku?
Answer: It's possible, but not guaranteed
Question: Hello, are tickets still available for the event??
Answer: Yes
Question: Hi Kathy, I am ordering tickets and am not sure if my 13 and 11 year old can get the student rate. please advise. thanks. jennifer
Answer: Yes for sure, children can enter at the student rate.
Question: If we are a student will we still have to pay the $99.00 for the reception meet and great at 6:00?
Answer: Another good question. hmmm... I will create a student level to the meet and greet at $75.
Question: What time will tickets at the door be available from?
Answer: 5 PM for Reception and - 6 PM for General admission
Question: do teacher receive a discount?
Answer: Sure, why not. A Teacher special for $20. Please bring some of your student if you like.
