Spring Fling
Please join us to celebrate Albany Music Fund's 10th Anniversary at the Spring Fling on Friday April 20th from 7-10 p.m. at Albany's own Veteran's Memorial Building.
Listen and dance to the cool sounds of jazz - performed by Albany's very own high school and middle school jazz bands.
Be serenaded by choirs of angels - that is elementary and high school students from most of the Albany schools.
Dance to the lively beats of "Rhythm Bound."
Then sip wine and nibble on scrumptious desserts while chatting with neighbors, teachers and musicians.
The event will celebrate the Albany Music Fund's 10th anniversary: ten years of providing kids in Albany schools with instrumental and vocal music instruction, performance experiences and the lessons of a lifetime that only music can bring.
The "Spring Fling" is also a fundraiser for the Albany Music Fund, which has the single purpose of supporting music education in the Albany public schools. All proceeds from the event will go to fund vocal and instrumental music and musicians in all of Albany's elementary, middle and high schools.
