The busy bees at AleSmith have been working hard to bring you the next installment in our 20th Anniversary Release Series.
BARREL-AGED DECADENCE 2014 (WHEAT WINE STYLE ALE)
We originally brewed this Wheat Wine Ale in 2014 as part of our annual Decadence series to celebrate our nineteenth anniversary. One lucky portion of the ale was set aside to be aged in bourbon barrels for this year's release. After a lengthy period of hibernation, the beer's profile has become magnified by the barrel's rich oaky character. Now, notes of vanilla and bourbon have combined with the Wheat Wine's honey and ripe fruit flavors to make this limited release a truly memorable experience. Enjoy now or continue to age in a cool, dark place.
BRANDY BARREL-AGED OLD NUMBSKULL
This barrel-aged version of our American Barleywine is matured in premium brandy barrels to develop its rich and intense flavor profile. The result is an amazingly complex beer that balances the caramel and toasted malt character of Old Numbskull with notes of plum, honey, and oak from the barrel aging process. Savor this one now or continue to age it in the bottle for years to come.

Purchasing Instructions:
1) Please read all instructions before purchasing any bottles!
2) Starting Monday, October 19th at 11:00am PST, you will be able to purchase up to (2) two bottles of Barrel-Aged Decadence 2014 and up to (2) two bottles of Brandy Barrel-Aged Old Numbskull via Brown Paper Tickets (prices exclude tax and BPT service fee).
3) PICKUP WINDOW:
Bottles can be picked up starting Saturday, October 24th during our Release Party, beginning at 11am. Bottles can be retrieved during tasting room hours from Saturday, October 24th through Sunday, December 6th 2015. **Any bottles not retrieved by SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6TH will be surrendered back to the brewery (no exceptions).**
4) PICKUP LOCATION: 9990 AleSmith Court
5) PICKUP PERSON:
At the beginning of your transaction, you will be asked to enter the last and first name of the person who will be picking up the bottles ("pickup person"). If you are picking up your own bottles, please enter your name; if you are not able to pick up your own bottles, please enter your proxy's name. **Please ensure you/your proxy can make it to the brewery by December 6th to pick up your bottles before entering your pickup person's name. Whoever's name is entered as the pickup person must be the one to pick up the bottles. NO EXCEPTIONS! ** This name will NOT appear on your ticket, but don't worry, we have your information.
6) PROXY LIMIT: 1 Proxy per Person
Due to the extremely limited amount of bottles, no one person will be able to proxy for more than one person for this release. This means, each person will only be allowed to pick up bottles for themselves and ONE other person. Any proxy overages will be subject to cancellation.
7) ADDITIONAL PURCHASES:
Do not purchase more than the maximum allowed! Once you place your order, your name will be registered and any additional sales to the same purchaser will be voided. Any overages for whatever reason will be cancelled without notification.
8) DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOUR PICKUP PERSON CAN MAKE IT TO THE BREWERY BY DECEMBER 6TH, 2015.
9) You will need to show BOTH valid ID matching the name listed as the pickup person and confirmation of purchase from Brown Paper Tickets in order to retrieve your bottles during the dates listed.
