Music, Masks y Más: An ImmersionArts Day Camp
This ImmersionArts Day Camp will run 9a-3p with optional aftercare until 4:00pm.
Drawing from Autumn and All Hollows Eve inspiration we will explore the mysterious moods of minor modes. Highlights will include singing and playing songs in minor keys on a variety of instruments. The arts and crafts component will include calaveras, inspired by traditional Mexican sugar skulls for Día de los Muertos and colorful mask making.
Time for whole group music, movement and visual arts facilitated by a licensed, certified educator will be balanced with time to explore a variety of hands-on centers available for self-selection. Families are asked to pack a healthy, nut-free lunch and a water bottle labeled with the child's name.
