Bazaar Bizarro

It's a Terra Madre year, which means its time to start thinking about how we'll get our delegates to this important meeting of food producers from around the world. Love is Love Farm at Gaia Gardens, along with the East Lake Co-Housing, are hosting a fundraiser for Slow Food Atlanta. The Bazaar Bizzaro is a country fair in the city, at the garden, with circus performers, roving musicians and crafters. It's a celebration of hand made things and the talents of human minds, hands, and bodies. The price of admission gets you awesome performances from Infinity Circus Productions and local acoustic bands including Christ, Lord!, Lily and the Tigers, The Black Sheep Ensemble, Sourwood Honey, Alex Gordon and Vivian Slade, and others, a tour of East Lake Commons Co-Housing, a day at the farm, and all the Maypole dancing you can muster! Come with cash for burgers from Farm Burger, and street food from King of Pops and Sandwich Buddah; as well as fantastic crafts, such as jewelery making, knife making and more; country fair games and activities; and a fun raffle. This event is outside amongst the cultivated and the wild. The celebration is rain or shine. Participants will want to bring a receptacle for water, hats, sunscreen, appropriate shoes,and possibly a blanket. Please leave your puppy dogs at home.

All proceeds go to Slow Food Atlanta to support Terra Madre Delegates.
