Chinese Folk Art Workshop Family Performance
Culminating public event for the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association's 2012 valley-wide Big Read of "The Joy Luck Club," the Boston-based Chinese Folk Art Workshop will perform a variety of traditional Chinese folk arts such as the Lion Dance, Taiwanese Drums, Chinese Yo-Yo and Folk Dance.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Montague and Deerfield Cultural Councils, local agencies supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency." The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and Arts Midwest.
