Witchcraft, Treason & Plot - Storytelling & History night
Did you know the Gunpowder Plot was not the only plot on King James VI and I's life?
In 1590, 15 years before Guy Fawkes, conspirators plotted to kill the King using a far more sinister weapon Black Magic! The Moss Troopers present a night exploring the British witch craze of the 17th century. There'll be storytelling and a lecture on witches in the North East, along with some slightly shambolic audience participation!
Please note: The Castle Keep is a Scheduled Ancient Monument with many stairs, therefore the Great Hall where this event takes place is unfortunately inaccessible to wheelchair users.
