It's Always You with Keith Horvath
It's Always You will focus first on grounded, real scenes.  We will explore who you are as a person, and essentially focus on being "the straight (wo)man" in a scene.  Then we dive into a specific genre (ocean, plants, statues/golems, animals etc.) and create characters who are not ourselves but still act like humans.  Through personifying objects and creatures that aren't human, we can find the similarities that makes the characters relatable to an audience and find the humor in any situation.

The Instructor: Keith Horvath
Keith is a graduate of iO, the Comedy Studies Program at Second City, and currently in Level 4 of the Conservatory with Tim O'Malley. He has been playing with GULP! for the past several months doing weekly long form shows and rehearsals. Recent sketch shows include "Love: It's a Trap!" and "Oregon Fail" with Half Naked Productions, and "GULP Productions Presents: The 7 Deadly Sins" which premiered at the 2012 Chicago Sketchfest. Additionally, Keith had performed in the improv/sketch show "CHEESE" with [something clever] productions at The Playground and played the character of Andrew in "Death of a Hipster", an Annoyance Triple Feature. In addition, Keith has recently taught workshops with Columbia's Improv Club and with "The Improv Group", a student organization Keith was President, founder, and teacher of in 2009 at Ferris State University.
