Nicky Silver's highly acclaimed 2011 black comedy, The Lyons, brings us into the lair of a family shrouded in secrets best left undiscovered. But the patriarch's looming death ignites confrontations that lay them bare and propel a "funny, furious little tale of family annihilation," as New York Magazine described it. The vicious shredding of any pretense leaves no choice but to make desperate attempts at new connections.
