Jokes 'n' Gender: A Variety Show
Some serious hilarity happens when Alison Grillo and Mike Motz revive Jokes 'n' Gender: A Variety Show in the PIT's cozy Underground room. Known as New York City's Woman Trapped Inside a Woman's Body, Alison hosts this event, playing a "character" that's basically herself: an eccentric Upper East Side socialite with man hands. Mike is her co-host "Bubba Blueneck," a delightful country boy and aspiring improvisational actor with surprising views on culture and politics.
Like all installments of Jokes 'n' Gender, this one features Alison's kick-ass opening monologue and Mike's off-beat improv hijinks. Joining the fun are Mike DeVito, and belly dancer Sandra Catena.
