The Love of the Nightingale
The Love of the Nightingale is a play by Timberlake Wertenbaker originally commissioned for the Royal Shakespeare Company. It is an adaptation of the Ancient Greek legend of Procne and Philomela and the ultimate revenge taken on Tereus the king. Performed in 90 minutes with no intermission, The Love of the Nightingale is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Recommended for mature audiences.
