Dance Bistro, a fresh new festival in the Southern California area, showcases dance companies, choreographers, musicians, and artists in fervent expression of "why we dance." It is a celebration of diverse dance styles that span genres and cultural boundaries, and a reaffirmation of the universal urge to move and communicate through our bodies.
Dance Bistro engages the talents of emerging and established artists, and encourages innovation and collaboration. Modern, cultural, ballet and urban dance companies present their variation on this year's theme, "Innovation through Traditions." The festival is also is committed to increasing accessibility of the arts in the community through educational outreach, affordable ticket prices and no-cost online streaming.
