The following was written by our marketing staff, which consists of a broken and dusty typewriter, and a drunk monkey:
"Fresh off their first production, the sold out/standing room only/standing ovation "Roommate Wanted" (that's right, we're cocky), Piano Fight Productions proudly presents the West Coast Premiere of "Dead Pan", running Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm, at the Off Market Theater (965 Mission bet 5th and 6th), from October 26th through November 10th, and, as always, brown bags are seriously encouraged seriously.
Death, can be SO annoying. At least that's the thought racing through Tom's head as he is mercilessly yet mirthfully followed by Death, who narrates Tom's plight to the audience in rhyming couplets - apparently Death does have a sense of humor. As Tom is confronted with his own impending doom, he must reconcile himself with his distant fianc, runaway sister, and newfound friend who happens to be dating Tom's aforementioned runaway sister. Sound like a lot? Well, you know, that's life and death.
With a rock star ensemble cast starring Cristy Crowley, Sara Hernandez, Orlando Mendoza, Eric Reid, & Nina Weiss, directed by Robert Ready, and written by home grown comedic genius Phillip Ngo, "Dead Pan" will have you laughing to death seriously, it's killer no joke, it's curtains for the audience ok, we'll stop, we don't want to flog a dead horse here, so we'll let the death jokes Rest In Peace.
