Harry Giles - This Is Not A Riot

Part performance, part training workshop, part lecture, part blazing argument, "This is not a riot." is a new piece of interactive theatre looking at what violence is, why we do it, and when it might be useful. Includes stuffed animals.

Harry Giles is a theatre-maker and performance poet from Orkney. He cares about participation and politics and the politics of participation. You can find him running spoken word events in Edinburgh under Inky Fingers, doing performance projects in national nooks and crannies under Open Source Theatre, moonlighting as an environmental consultant, and online at harrygiles.wordpress.com.
