In the wake of the anniversary of the Fukushima disaster Michio Kaku talks about what is possible for the future.

This is a fundraising event for listener supported, non-commercial, WBAI-Pacifia Radio 99.5FM

On Monday March 12th, Michio Kaku, host of Explorations heard over WBAI Radio on Saturdays at 2 PM, will commemorate the one year anniversary of the Fukushima disaster and give a lecture on his book "Physics of the Future", now available in paperback. You will have an opportunity to attend a reception with Michio Kaku prior to the lecture and have your book signed before the close of the evening. The event will take place at The New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street at Central Park West.

Welcome and Introduction will be facilitated by Robert Knight, host of the Five O'clock Shadow heard at 5 PM over WBAI radio Monday through Thursday.

Dr. Kaku's book "Physics of the Future" can be purchased at the event.

Dr. Michio Kaku is a theoretical physicist, best-selling author, and popularizer of science.

He is known the world of physics as the co-creator of string field theory, a branch of string theory, and his research on Einstein's "Theory of Everything." The theory seeks to unify the four fundamental forces of the universe-the strong force, the weak force, gravity and electromagnetism.

Dr. Kaku has written several best-sellers including "Hyperspace," and his book, "Physics of the Impossible," was on the New York Times best-seller list for five weeks. He has appeared on 60 Minutes, Good Morning America, Nightline, the Larry King Show, and numerous science specials, and has hosted several science specials, including Science Channel's "Visions of the Future," "Time," and "2057."
