Montclair Culinary Academy Kids' Cooking Class (age 8-12) 9am - 10:30am

The Montclair Culinary Academy is pleased to offer a series of 4 cooking classes on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10:30am.

The classes will be in Designer Appliances' state of the art showroom.

Register for one or two or sign up for all 4 and get a $10 discount.

OCT 17: LA COCINA- FOODS OF SOUTH AMERICA
Savor the flavors of South America, You will learn how to make empañadas from Argentina, house-made tortilla chips with fresh Jersey tomato corn salsa and guacamole. And to finish you will create a delicious Chilean flan (custard cream.)

OCT 24: A TASTE OF PARIS
Learn about la cuisine Française. On the menu is a seasonal vegetable soufflé, salade niçoise ending with classic French crêpes, garnished with chocolate, berries and freshly whipped cream.

OCT 31: HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS
Get into the Halloween spirit with some savory and sweets. Learn how to make a fall pumpkin soup with roasted pepitas; scary spider deviled eggs and decorated Halloween sugar cookies.

NOV 7: SUSHI 101
Learn how to make Tekka Maki rolls, California rolls and dumplings.

These classes are hands-on so your little chefs will make this food to sample in class and take home their treats.
This class is for 8 - 12 year olds.
Aprons will be provided for use during the class.
We will not use nuts but sorry that we cannot promise a nut-free environment.
