Sleights on Sunday- Kozmo- Street Magician Extraordinaire
SLEIGHTS ON SUNDAY (usually the first Sunday of every month) means world-class professional magicians performing close up and/or stage magic for 2 performances with a workshop for magicians only.
November 8th features Kozmo, one of the world's top street magicians. Kozmo, aka Ted Brainard, left his engineering job at Cornell University to pursue a career in street magic. Kozmo often quotes the late great street magician Cellini that "One year on the streets is like 10 years anywhere else" and Kozmo has been a successful street magician since the 1990s. With magic as his profession he has sent his children through college. Kozmo will present his entertaining professional street routines at 2 and 7 PM.
Between performances at about 3:30 PM Kozmo will present a workshop (for magicians only) . Kozmo will teach some of the secrets of his routine and tell tales form the street i.e., how to make magic play bigger, how to keep the crowds interested, and how to make one's magic performance better. (Reservations required for workshop by calling 973-769-2893).
