On the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday, Catherine must confront a dangerous wave of emotions surrounding issues with her father, a mathematical genius who has struggled with mental illness. Over one long weekend, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: how much of her father's madnessor geniuswill she inherit? This beautiful drama was the winner of the 2001 Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize.
