The Community Table: Recipes & Stories from the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan & Beyond
Three chefs from the JCC Manhattan worked together to create a cookbook of classic Jewish recipes as well as an inspiring collection of contemporary dishes with farm-to-table emphasis and international flavors. They include stories from JCC's across the U.S., including Houston, in their discussions of the relationships between community and food. Participants will cook Black Bean Cakes with Tomato Salsa, Lemon-Thyme Zucchini Spaghettini, and Chocolate Crumb Babka paired with two wine tastings.
