Traditional Nowruz Persian New Year's Dinner
Celebrate the Persian New Year with a special Persian-infused dinner created by guest chef (and author of Lucid Food) Louisa Shafia. The tentative menu will be:
Ash-e Reshteh: Noodle soup with beans and herbs
Sabzi khordan: Feta cheese, radishes, and fresh herbs with flatbread
Sabzi Polow: Rice with saffron and Herbs
Baked or Pan-seared Fish
Herb Kuku: Bakes eggs with herbs, walnuts, dried rose petals
Mast-o Musir: Yogurt with Shallots
Dessert: Faludeh, Persian sorbet with rose water and rice noodles, garnished with nuts and fruit syrup (determined by what fruits are in season)
