Tasting Tuscany
6 nights, 5 days exploring Tuscany peasant food, hunting truffles with truffle-sniffing dogs, learning to make pizza, pasta, bruschetta, tiramisu, and gelato. And, all the while seeing and being surrounded by the beautiful Renaissance artistry and architecture of Florence.
Day 1- walking introduction to Florence and food!
Day 2- Tuscan cooking class
Day 3- Exploring the art in the Ufizzi, Academia, and Medici Chapel
Day 4- Hunt your own truffles and eat a truffle feast
Day 5- Experience the peace of the Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens and learn about and eat Tuscan peasant food
