David Fung in Concert ~Friday Evening~
David Fung has appeared at many major concert venues around the world, including the Sydney Opera House in his native Australia. He left training in medicine to pursue piano study with John Perry at the Colburn School in Los Angeles. He was the first pianist to receive an Artist's Diploma from that prestigious school, following which he received M.Mus. and doctoral degrees from the Yale School of Music. "Impossibly virtuosic, prodigiously talented," as one critic wrote of him, David Fung has won major prizes in important international competitions and has a discography of both solo piano and chamber ensemble recordings.
