Sunday, June 9th: 3PM
Pura Belpré was the first Latina librarian in the New York Public Library system. In this production, a bilingual storyteller teaches children about Pura's legacy, Puerto Rican folklore and the library's important role in the community. This 45-minute interactive educational production presents in schools, libraries or community centers and is told through music, puppetry and storytelling.
